The International Cricket Council (ICC) has set the stage for the 9th Men’s Cricket World Cup Tournament, commencing on June 4th, 2024. This edition will witness the participation of 20 Men’s National Teams, with the West Indies and the United States hosting this exhilarating event.
The tournament will embrace the Twenty20 International style, featuring 55 matches, each lasting 20 overs.
ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 Format
Twenty qualified teams will engage in the ICC T20 World Cup 2024, divided into four groups of five teams each. The top two teams from each group will progress to the Super 8’s Round. Later, two groups of four qualifying teams will advance to the knockout stage, paving the way for the semifinals and the championship game.
