Eligibility
To be eligible for the JK Labour Card Scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
- You must be a resident of Jammu and Kashmir.
- You must be a registered construction worker with the J&K Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (JKBOCW).
- Your annual income from construction work should not exceed Rs. 1.2 lakh.
- You must be pursuing a recognized course at an institution recognized by the JKBOCW.
Benefits
The JK Labour Card Scholarship provides financial assistance to eligible candidates to pursue their education. The scholarship amount varies depending on the course and level of education.
- For Class 9th to 12th: Rs. 1200/- per annum per child (upto two children) as Education Assistance
- For Para Medical Diploma Courses (Regular Students): Rs. 10,000/-

Application Process
The application process for the JK Labour Card Scholarship is as follows:
1. Visit the JKBOCW website (jkbocw.gov.in)
2. Click on the “Worker Registration” option
3. Login to the portal using your registered mobile number, password, and captcha
4. Once logged in, click on “CLICK HERE TO CONTINUE”
5. A new page will appear with new options. Click on “Scheme Registration Option” and then select “Scheme Application Status” from the drop-down menu
6. After clicking on that option, your Labour Scholarship Status will be displayed.
