The Tejaswini Scheme, launched by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on March 8th, 2021, aims to empower women and young girls in Jammu & Kashmir. This welfare initiative focuses on providing financial assistance, specifically a loan of Rs. 5 Lakh, to women between the ages of 18-35 who aspire to start their own businesses.
Eligibility Criteria:
To apply for the Tejaswini Scheme, the applicant must be a resident of Jammu & Kashmir, aged between 18-35, currently unemployed, and have a well-thought-out business plan. Government job holders in the state are not eligible.
Documents Required:
Applicants need to submit essential documents, including Aadhar card, residential proof, age proof, annual income details, total project cost, passport-size photo, and contact details.

Registration Process:
1. Visit the official website.
2. Fill in the Tejaswini Scheme registration form with personal details and upload necessary documents.
3. Submit the application online to receive a registration ID.

Check your application status on the official website by logging in with your registration ID and password.
