Aspiring candidates for the Supervisor post in Mission Poshan, Social Welfare Department, must familiarize themselves with the comprehensive syllabus designed to evaluate their scientific, analytical, and numerical aptitude, along with their general awareness. The written test, carrying 120 marks, will be conducted in English.
General Knowledge with special reference to J&K: Marks – 20
Covering current events, Indian history, culture, and the unique aspects of Jammu and Kashmir, this section ensures candidates are well-versed in diverse topics, including demography, weather, and the environment.
General English & Comprehension: Marks – 10
Candidates will be tested on their proficiency in English, including areas like tenses, sentence rearrangement, narration, modals, and vocabulary usage.
General Intelligence & Reasoning: Marks – 10
This section assesses candidates’ basic arithmetic skills, reasoning abilities, and problem-solving capacity through topics like number series, coding-decoding, and mathematical reasoning.
General Science: Marks – 10
Testing knowledge in biology and environmental science, this section includes topics such as nutrition, diseases, ecosystems, and environmental issues.
Computer: Marks – 10
Candidates need to showcase their understanding of fundamental computer science, applications, and knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, and internet usage.
