Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the NSP Post Matric Scholarship 2023, applicants must:
Be Indian nationals
Be enrolled in Class 11 to postgraduate courses at a recognized university by UGC/AICTE
Have a disability certified by competent authority exceeding 40%
Have an annual family income below INR 2,50,000
Note: Employed students meeting income criteria are eligible. Female candidates have a 50% reservation.
Scholarship Benefits
The selected scholars will receive financial assistance based on different groups and courses they pursue. Here’s a breakdown:
Hostellers(Maintenance Allowance)
Day Scholars (Maintenance Allowance)
Group 1: Postgraduate degree/diploma courses (INR 1,600 / INR 750)
Group 2: Professional courses (INR 1,100 / INR 700)
Group 3: Other graduate courses (INR 950 / INR 650)
Group 4: Post matriculation non degree courses (INR 900 / INR 550)
Note: State authorities decide course groupings.
Disability Allowances
Disability allowances vary based on the type of disability, ranging from INR 2,000 to INR 4,000 per annum.

3. Complete the registration and application process by filling in details and uploading necessary documents.
Note: Applications should be accurate, and only one application per candidate is allowed.
Selection Criteria
Selection factors include eligibility fulfillment, state slot availability, state education department recommendations, and academic merit. In case of ties in marks, preference is given based on the percentage of disability and then age.
