The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is set to release its 16th installment, expected in February or March. To receive the Rs 2,000 installment, beneficiaries must complete their online eKYC by January 31, 2024. Failing to complete this process by the deadline will result in non-payment of the 16th installment.
eKYC Deadline and Release Date:
The deadline for eKYC is January 31, 2024. As for the release date of the 16th installment, it is anticipated in February or March, though the exact date is yet to be confirmed by officials.
PM-KISAN Yojana Overview:
Introduced in 2019 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PM-KISAN Yojana aims to financially support farmers with cultivable land. Eligible farmers receive Rs 6,000 annually in 3 to 4 installments of Rs 2,000 each.

Eligibility Criteria:
Farmers with cultivable lands registered in their names are eligible for the PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi scheme.
How to Register for PM Kisan Yojana:
1. Visit PM Kisan Website pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Navigate to Farmers Corner.
3. Click on ‘New Farmer Registration.’
4. Choose rural or urban registration.
5. Fill required details like mobile number, Aadhaar number, and state name.
6. Receive and submit OTP.
7. Provide additional details including bank account information and personal details.

Completing Online e-KYC:
1. Visit official website pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Click on the eKYC option.
3. Enter Aadhaar number and captcha.
4. Hit ‘Search’ and enter mobile number.
5. Receive and enter OTP to complete eKYC.

How To Check PM KISAN Scheme Status:
1. Visit official website pmkisan.gov.in.
2. In the Farmers Corner, select “Beneficiary Status.”
3. Enter details and click ‘Get Data‘ to view your PM KISAN Scheme status.
