SSC CGL 2024 Vacancy:
The number of vacancies for different posts under SSC CGL 2024 is yet to be disclosed officially. However, positions such as AAO, ACO, ASO, Inspector, Auditor, and many more will be available across various departments and ministries.
SSC CGL 2024 Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria to apply for SSC CGL 2024:
- For posts like Auditor, Accountant, Junior Accountant, etc., candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree and be aged between 18 to 27 years.
- For Inspector and Assistant positions, candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree and be aged between 18 to 30 years.
- Assistant Section Officer aspirants must have a Bachelor’s Degree and be aged between 20 to 30 years.
- For roles like Assistant Audit Officer and Inspector of Income Tax, candidates need a Bachelor’s Degree and should be aged between 18 to 30 years.
- Candidates applying for the Junior Statistical Officer position should have a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects or should have attained a minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12. The age limit for this position is 18 to 32 years.
SSC CGL 2024 Application Fee:
The application fee for SSC CGL 2024 is INR 100 for General category candidates, while female candidates, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates are exempted from paying the fee.

SSC CGL 2024 Selection Process:
The selection process for SSC CGL 2024 comprises four stages:
Tier 1: Computer-Based Test (CBT) with sections including General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Comprehension.
Tier 2: Computer-Based Test (CBT) with Paper I (Quantitative Abilities), Paper II (English Language and Comprehension), and Paper III (Statistics) for certain posts.
Tier 3: Pen and Paper (Descriptive) test involving Essay/Precis/Letter/Application Writing.
Tier 4: This stage includes specific tests such as Data Entry Skill Test (DEST) for Tax Assistants and Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) for Assistant Section Officer in CSS and Assistant in MEA.
