The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is gearing up to release the admit cards for the board exams in 2024. The official website for downloading these cards is cbse.gov.in. The board has already shared the roll number list with schools, enabling them to download the admit cards once they are released.
Admit Card Details:
Expected to be out in the last week of January 2024, the admit cards will play a crucial role for students appearing in the exams scheduled for February 15, 2024. These cards will contain essential details like the student’s name, roll number, subjects opted, exam centre, exam code, exam dates, and other important instructions.
Release for Regular and Private Candidates:
Both regular and private candidates will have access to the admit cards. Regular students must collect their cards from their schools after release, ensuring the principal’s signature. It’s crucial to note that unsigned admit cards won’t be accepted at exam centres, leading to entry denial.

Private Candidates’ Procedure:
Private candidates, on the other hand, need to download the CBSE Board Exam 2024 admit card from the official board website. The timetable has been strategically designed, offering ample gaps between exams, taking into account national entrance exams such as JEE Main 2024.

How to Download the CBSE 10th, 12th Admit Card 2024:
- Go to the official website of CBSE, cbse.gov.in admit card.
- On the home page, click on the link that reads “CBSE admit card Download 2024 Class 10th or 12th‘.
- The ‘Authentication details‘ page will be displayed on the screen.
- Enter the credentials such as application number, name, mother’s name and father’s name.
- Click on proceed, CBSE admit card 2024 Class 10 or 12 will be displayed on the screen.
- Download the CBSE board exam admit card and keep it safe for future reference.
